This listing is for the hard drive PCB (logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. The board is intended for use in data recovery or HDD repair. We stock a large quantity of these PCBs, so the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Before ordering, confirm compatibility by consulting the Donor Matching Guide and run the hard drive diagnostics guide to determine whether a replacement PCB will resolve your issue. Most PCBs store unique drive parameters in a ROM memory chip; that ROM data must be transferred or duplicated for the drive to operate correctly. If the ROM chip can be moved, a local computer repair specialist can usually perform the transfer. For orders of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service that either transfers the ROM chip onto the replacement board or reprograms the new PCB with the correct ROM data.
