This listing is for the hard drive PCB / logic board only — NO hard drive is included. Because we keep a large inventory, the actual PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. This board is intended for HDD repair or data recovery work. Most WD PCBs contain unique ROM "memory" data that is required for correct drive operation; that ROM content must be transferred to the replacement PCB or reprogrammed. If the ROM chip can be moved, a local computer technician can typically perform the transplant.
