Listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive included. Because we maintain a large stock, the actual PCB shipped may look slightly different from the photo. This board is supplied for hard drive repair and data recovery purposes. Most of the hard drive circuit boards contain unique information in a ROM "memory" chip; that data is required for correct drive operation. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement PCB. If transplanting the chip is possible, a local computer technician can typically perform the transfer.
