This sale includes the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the hard drive itself is not included. Because we keep a large inventory of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. This PCB is intended for use in drive repair or data recovery. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify part compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Many hard drive PCBs store unique configuration data in a ROM memory chip; that ROM data is required for correct drive operation and must be transferred or reproduced on the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform that operation. For orders of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service that either transfers the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
