This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY. No hard drive is included. Because we stock large quantities, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery or hard drive repair. Before ordering, verify that a replacement PCB will resolve your problem by using our hard drive diagnostics guide, and confirm part compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Important: most hard drive PCBs store unique calibration and service data in a ROM “memory” chip. That ROM data is required for the drive to function correctly and must be transferred to the replacement board or reprogrammed onto it. If feasible, a local computer professional can move the ROM chip to the new PCB. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service that either relocates the ROM chip or reprograms the new board with the correct ROM data.
