This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no physical hard drive is included. Multiple PCB units are in stock, so the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photos. Designed for HDD repair and data recovery, this replacement PCB can be used to restore drive functionality when compatible. Important: many PCBs store unique calibration and configuration data in a ROM "memory" chip; that data is required for the drive to operate correctly. The ROM chip itself or its contents must be transferred or programmed onto the replacement board. If transfer by soldering is possible, a local computer technician can usually perform that task.
