This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — the drive itself is not included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Most HDD PCBs store unique configuration data in a ROM "memory" chip; this information is required for the drive to function properly. The ROM chip or its data must be moved to or programmed into the replacement board. If the chip can be relocated, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer.
