This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we maintain a large inventory, the specific PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Before ordering, confirm that replacing the PCB will resolve your issue by following our Hard Drive Diagnostics Guide and verify part compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Most hard drive PCBs contain unique data stored in a ROM (memory) chip that is required for the drive to operate correctly. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred or programmed onto the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transplant. For customers with purchases of $60 or more, we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either moving the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
