This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we stock a large quantity of PCBs, the actual board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. The PCB is intended for HDD repair and data recovery applications. To ensure a replacement board will fix your drive, please review our hard drive diagnostics guide and confirm compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most hard drive PCBs contain unique calibration/configuration data stored in a ROM memory chip; that data is required for proper operation and must be transferred to or programmed into the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be moved, a local computer technician can typically perform the transplant. For purchases of $60 or more we offer complimentary adaptation service, which includes either moving the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the new board with the correct ROM data.
