Product is the hard drive circuit board / logic board ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we stock a large quantity of PCBs, the board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. This replacement PCB is intended for hard drive repair or data recovery work. Before purchasing, confirm whether a PCB swap will resolve your issue by consulting our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Note: most of these circuit boards contain unique data stored in a ROM "memory" chip that is required for the drive to function; that ROM or its contents must be moved or copied to the replacement board. If you cannot transfer the ROM yourself, a local computer technician can usually perform the chip transplant. For customers spending $60 or more, we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
