This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we maintain a large inventory, the specific PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. The board is intended for hard drive repair and data recovery work. Most hard drive PCBs contain unique information stored in a ROM "memory" chip that is essential for proper drive operation. That ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If physical chip transfer is possible, a local computer technician can typically perform the task.
