This item is for the hard drive printed circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY. No hard drive is included. Because we stock a large quantity of boards, the exact PCB you receive may vary slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Before buying, confirm that a replacement PCB will solve your problem by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify part compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Note: most hard drive PCBs contain unique information stored in a ROM memory chip that is required for proper drive operation. That ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be moved, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transplant. For customers with orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service, which covers either physically moving the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
