This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. We have a large inventory of these PCBs, so the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Before purchasing, confirm a PCB replacement will resolve your issue by following our Hard Drive Diagnostics Guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Important: most of these PCBs store unique information in the ROM “memory” chip that is required for the drive to operate correctly. That ROM or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If physical ROM transplant is possible, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service — either transplanting the ROM chip onto your new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
