This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — NO hard drive is included. We stock large quantities of these PCBs, so the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: hard drive repair or data recovery. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most hard drive PCBs store unique operational data in a ROM "memory" chip; that ROM data is required for the drive to function correctly. The ROM chip itself, or its data, must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be moved, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transplant. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service that covers either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the new board with the correct ROM data.
