This sale is for the hard drive printed circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — no hard drive is included. Part is for model WD2500AAJS-75M0A0, 2061-701590-E01 01P, WD SATA 3.5. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. These replacement PCBs are intended for hard drive repair and data recovery work. Many PCBs contain unique ROM-stored parameters required for proper drive operation; that ROM data (or the ROM chip itself) must be transferred or reprogrammed for the drive to function. If you cannot transplant the ROM chip yourself, a local computer technician can usually perform the soldering or data transfer. For customers spending $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either moving the ROM chip to the new board or programming the new PCB with the correct ROM data.
