This listing is for the hard drive PCB / logic board ONLY. No hard drive is included. Because we keep a large inventory of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photograph. This PCB is supplied for hard drive repair and data recovery purposes. Most PCBs contain unique configuration data stored in a ROM ("memory") chip that is required for the drive to operate correctly; the ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board or the new board reprogrammed with the correct ROM contents. If the ROM chip can be relocated, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transplant.
