This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — no hard drive is included. Because we stock large quantities, the exact PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery or repair of WD SATA 3.5 drives. Most WD PCBs contain a unique ROM memory chip that holds necessary drive-specific data; that ROM or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board for the drive to function properly. If you cannot perform the transfer yourself, a local computer technician can usually移植 the chip.
