Because we stock a large quantity of PCBs, the actual board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. The board is intended for data recovery and hard drive repair tasks. Most WD PCBs contain unique information stored in a ROM "memory" chip that is required for the drive to function; that ROM or its data must be transferred or programmed onto the replacement board.
