This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB/logic board) ONLY — the hard drive itself is NOT included. Because we stock large quantities, the PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Designed for hard drive repair and data-recovery work. Before ordering, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our Hard Drive Diagnostics Guide, and verify compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Most WD PCBs contain unique ROM data required for normal drive operation; the ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can normally perform the transfer. For customers spending $60 or more, we provide a complimentary adaptation service that either relocates the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
