This sale includes the hard drive PCB / logic board ONLY. No hard drive is included. Due to a large stock of boards, the actual PCB you receive may look slightly different than the photo. Designed for use in data recovery and hard drive repairs. Before purchasing, confirm a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Many PCBs store unique configuration data in a ROM "memory" chip; that ROM data is required for the drive to function correctly. The ROM chip itself or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer. For customers spending $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service which covers either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
