This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the physical hard drive is not included. Because we stock large quantities, the PCB you receive may differ slightly in appearance from the photo. Designed for data recovery and HDD repair work. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement PCB is the correct fix by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Important: most drive PCBs hold unique information on the ROM memory chip that is required for the drive to function. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the swap. For orders of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service which includes either transplanting the ROM chip onto your new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
