This sale includes the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the hard drive is not included. Because we stock a large number of boards, the exact PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended用途: designed for hard drive repair and data recovery tasks. Important: most hard drive PCBs contain unique configuration data stored in a ROM ("memory") chip; that ROM data is required for the drive to function correctly. The ROM chip itself or its contents must be moved to or written onto the replacement board. If the chip can be physically transferred, a local computer technician should be able to perform the swap. For customers with orders of $60 or more, we provide a complimentary adaptation service that either transfers the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
