This listing includes ONLY the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board). No hard drive or other components are included. Because we maintain a large inventory, the exact PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Before buying, confirm that a replacement PCB is appropriate by following our hard drive diagnostics guide and verifying compatibility via the Donor Matching Guide. Most of these PCBs contain unique ROM memory data required for the drive to function. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board for proper operation. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform that task. For customers with orders of $60 or more, we provide a complimentary adaptation service that covers either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
