This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — no hard drive is included. Because we stock large quantities, the exact PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photos. This PCB is intended for use in hard drive repair or data recovery. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement board will resolve your issue by consulting our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Most of these boards contain unique ROM memory that is required for the drive to function; that ROM data must be transferred or reprogrammed onto the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer. For orders of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service that will either transplant the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprogram the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
