This listing is for a hard drive printed circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended用途: replacement for data recovery or repair of WD 3.5" SATA drives. Important: most hard drive PCBs contain unique information stored in the ROM "memory" chip. That ROM data is required for the drive to function properly and must be moved to the replacement board or reprogrammed onto it. If the ROM chip can be relocated, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer. For customers spending $60 or more, we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
