Because we keep a large inventory, the actual PCB you receive may vary slightly from the photo. This replacement board is intended strictly for HDD repair and data recovery purposes. Important technical note: most drive circuit boards contain drive-specific information stored in a ROM chip. That ROM data is required for correct drive operation. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement PCB (either by physically moving the chip or by reprogramming the new board). If you cannot perform the chip transfer yourself, a local computer technician can typically handle it.
