This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / Logic board) only — the hard drive itself is not included. Because we have a large inventory of replacement PCBs, the actual board you receive may look slightly different than the photo. These PCBs are intended for hard drive repair and data recovery tasks. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by using our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Important: most of these circuit boards store unique parameters in a ROM "memory" chip. That ROM data is required for the drive to function correctly and must be transferred to the replacement board. If it’s possible to transplant the ROM chip to the new PCB, a local computer technician can usually perform that operation. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service — either moving the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
