This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive or additional components are included. Because we stock a large number of these PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Before ordering, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Important: most PCBs store unique drive information in a ROM memory chip; that ROM data is required for correct drive operation. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant. For customers spending $60 or more, we include a complimentary adaptation service that covers either moving the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the proper ROM data.
