This sale is for a hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we maintain a large inventory of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photograph. Intended use: hard drive repair and data recovery. Before buying, confirm a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide and verifying compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Important: most hard drive PCBs contain unique data stored in a ROM memory chip that is required for normal drive operation. The ROM chip or its ROM data must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant. For purchases of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service that either moves the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
