This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — the hard drive is NOT included. We carry a large quantity of PCBs, so the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. These PCBs are intended for HDD repair and data recovery work. Before buying, follow our hard drive diagnostics guide to confirm that a replacement board will resolve your issue, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most hard drive PCBs contain unique data stored in a ROM "memory" chip that is required for proper drive operation; that ROM or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service which covers either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
