This sale includes the hard drive printed circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — the hard drive itself is NOT included. Because we stock many PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended uses: hard drive repair and data recovery. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Important: most drive PCBs store unique configuration data in a ROM ("memory") chip that is required for proper operation. That ROM or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service — either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the board with the correct ROM data.
