This sale includes only the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board). No hard drive is included. We hold a large quantity of PCBs, so the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Before ordering, confirm that replacing the PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most drive PCBs store unique information on a ROM (memory) chip that is required for correct drive operation; that ROM or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can typically perform the transfer. For customers who spend $60 or more, we provide a complimentary adaptation service that covers either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
