This sale is for the hard drive PCB / logic board only — no hard drive is included. The board corresponds to WD1600JS-88MHB0, 2061-701335-B00 AJ for 3.5" WD SATA drives. Because we stock a large quantity of PCBs, the exact board you receive may vary slightly from the photo. Intended purpose: data recovery and HDD repair. Many WD PCBs contain unique data stored in a ROM (memory) chip that is required for correct drive operation. That ROM or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board — either by physically moving the chip to the new PCB or by reprogramming the new board with the correct ROM data.
