Sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive included. Because we stock large quantities, the exact PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. This replacement board is intended for hard drive repair and data recovery use. Before buying, confirm compatibility by reviewing the Donor Matching Guide, and follow our hard drive diagnostics guide to determine whether a PCB swap will resolve your issue. Most hard drive PCBs store unique settings in a ROM (memory) chip; that ROM data is required for correct drive operation and must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically moved to the new PCB, a local computer professional should be able to perform the transplant. For purchases of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either moving the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
