Item includes the hard drive circuit board / logic board (PCB) ONLY — no hard drive is supplied. This PCB corresponds to WD1600JS-40MVB1 with part number 2061-701335-B00 AF for WD SATA 3.5 drives. Because we stock large quantities, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: hard drive repair or data recovery. Important technical note: many hard drive PCBs store unique information in a ROM “memory” chip; that ROM data is required for the drive to operate correctly. The ROM chip (or its contents) must be transferred to the replacement board. If you cannot move the chip yourself, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer.
