This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we maintain a large stock, the exact PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. The board is intended for hard drive repair and data-recovery applications. To determine whether a replacement PCB will resolve your issue, follow our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most hard drive PCBs contain unique ROM "memory" data that is required for proper operation; the ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be moved, a local computer technician can typically perform the transfer. For purchases of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service, which covers either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
