This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. We stock a large quantity of PCBs, so the actual board you receive may vary slightly from the photograph. Intended for use in hard drive repair and data recovery, this replacement PCB can often restore drive functionality when matched correctly. Prior to purchase, confirm that a PCB swap will address your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify part compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Most hard drive PCBs store unique ROM "memory" data that is essential for normal operation; that ROM chip or its data must be transferred or reprogrammed onto the replacement board. If the chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant.
