This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB/logic board) only — the hard drive is NOT included. Because we stock a large quantity of these PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Purpose: This PCB is intended for use in hard drive repair or data recovery. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement board will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide. Verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide to ensure a correct match. Important technical note: Most hard drive PCBs contain unique data stored in a ROM (memory) chip that is required for proper drive operation. That ROM data must be transferred to the replacement board or the replacement must be reprogrammed with the correct ROM contents. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can typically perform the transfer.
