Product is the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the hard drive itself is not included. Due to a large stock of similar boards, the actual PCB you receive may vary slightly from the pictured example. This PCB is intended for hard drive repair and data recovery use. Before purchasing: verify whether a PCB swap will solve your issue by consulting our hard drive diagnostics guide, and confirm compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Many hard drive PCBs store unique calibration and configuration data inside a ROM "memory" chip; that ROM data is required for the drive to function properly. The ROM chip or its stored data must be moved to or programmed onto the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically transferred, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transplant.
