This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we have a large inventory, the actual PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. The board is intended for hard drive repair and data recovery applications. Before purchasing, confirm that this PCB will work for your drive by following our hard drive diagnostics guide and checking compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Most hard drive PCBs store unique data in a ROM (memory) chip; that ROM data is required for the drive to function correctly. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board — if the chip can be moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant. For customer convenience, orders of $60 or more include a complimentary adaptation service that either moves the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
