This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we stock a large quantity of PCBs, the exact board you receive may vary slightly from the picture. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Verify that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and confirm compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most hard drive circuit boards contain unique information stored in a ROM "memory" chip; that data is required for correct drive operation. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If physical chip transfer is possible, a local computer technician can usually perform the procedure. For purchases of $60 or more, we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either moving the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the proper ROM data.
