This sale is for the hard drive PCB / logic board ONLY — the hard drive is not included. Because we maintain a large inventory, the PCB you receive may differ slightly from the picture. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement PCB will address your problem by following our hard drive diagnostics guide and verifying compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Note: most hard drive PCBs contain a unique ROM memory chip with essential data required for proper drive operation. That ROM, or its contents, must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service — either moving the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
