This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY. No hard drive is included. Because we stock large quantities, the exact PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Also verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Important: most hard drive PCBs store unique configuration data in a ROM “memory” chip. That ROM — or its contents — must be transferred to the replacement board for the drive to operate correctly. If the ROM chip can be physically moved to the new PCB, a local computer technician can typically perform that procedure.
