This sale is for the hard drive circuit board only — WD1600AAJS-08L7A0 / 2061-701590-X02 04P, SATA 3.5 PCB. No hard drive or other components are included. Because we maintain a large inventory of PCBs, the actual board shipped may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and HDD repair. Before purchasing, confirm that a PCB swap will fix your drive by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Many hard drive PCBs contain unique data stored in the ROM "memory" chip; that information is required for the drive to function correctly. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If you cannot perform the transfer yourself, a local computer technician can usually move the chip to the new PCB.
