This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive included. We maintain a large inventory, so the PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended for HDD repair and data recovery use. Before ordering, confirm a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our Hard Drive Diagnostics Guide and verify part compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Note: most hard drive PCBs contain unique information stored in a ROM memory chip that is required for correct drive operation. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be moved, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transfer. For customers with purchases of $60 or more, we include a complimentary adaptation service that either transfers the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
