This sale is for the hard drive circuit board / logic board ONLY — the hard drive is NOT included. Because we stock a large quantity of these PCBs, the actual board you receive may differ slightly from the pictured example. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Before purchasing, confirm that replacing the PCB will resolve your issue by following our Hard Drive Diagnostics Guide, and verify part compatibility via the Donor Matching Guide. Important: many hard drive PCBs store unique information in a ROM (memory) chip that is required for correct drive operation. That ROM chip, or its contents, must be transferred to the replacement board. If a chip transplant is possible, a local computer technician can normally perform the transfer. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service — either physical transfer of the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
