This listing is for the hard drive PCB / logic board only. No hard drive is included. Because we have a large inventory of PCBs, the board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended for hard drive repair and data recovery use. Prior to purchasing, confirm that replacing the PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify part compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most hard drive PCBs include a unique ROM "memory" chip whose contents are required for proper drive operation; the ROM chip or its data must be transferred or reprogrammed onto the replacement board. If the ROM can be moved, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transfer. For orders of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service that either relocates the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
