This sale is for the hard drive PCB (logic board) only — the hard drive is not included. Because we stock large quantities, the actual PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. These circuit boards are intended for hard drive repair and data recovery. Before purchasing, confirm a PCB swap will resolve your issue by using our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify part compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Most hard drive PCBs contain unique data stored in a ROM chip that is critical for proper drive operation; the ROM chip or its data must be transferred or reprogrammed onto the replacement board. If physical transfer of the ROM chip is possible, a local computer technician should be able to perform the move. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service, which covers either transplanting the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
