This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. We maintain a large inventory, so the actual PCB shipped may vary slightly from the photo. Intended use: hard drive repair and data recovery. Before purchasing, verify that a replacement PCB is appropriate by using our hard drive diagnostics guide and confirm compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Important: most hard drive PCBs store unique information in a ROM "memory" chip that is required for proper drive operation. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If physically moving the chip to the new PCB is an option, a local computer technician can usually perform that task. Customers with orders of $60 or more qualify for our complimentary adaptation service, which includes either transplanting the ROM chip to the new circuit board or reprogramming the replacement PCB with the correct ROM data.
