This sale is for the hard drive PCB / logic board only — NO hard drive included. The board is intended for use in hard drive repair and data recovery. We keep a large inventory, so the PCB you receive may differ slightly in appearance from the photo. Before purchasing, confirm that a PCB replacement will resolve your issue by following our Hard Drive Diagnostics Guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Many Western Digital PCBs contain unique information stored in a ROM "memory" chip that is required for the drive to function correctly; that ROM or its contents must be transferred or programmed onto the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant. For customers with orders of $60 or more, we include a complimentary adaptation service that either relocates the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
